Research, selection and conception
Alpine Cheesecraft

The living areas north and south of the Alpine ridge provide optimal conditions for practicing traditional agriculture in the heart of nature. With the annual trek of the dairy cows to the higher pastures of the Alps each summer, mountain farmers nurture the cultural landscape that has developed over the centuries. Flawless nature with its lush fields rich in herbs creates the ideal feeding ground for producing remarkably flavorful milk. Knowledge of the careful processing of raw milk, along with the cheesemakers’ recipes that have been passed down through the generations, results in pure and healthy products with a satisfying taste. The traditional, European cheese trade, extraordinary product quality, state of the art recipes and a strong brand presence place these specialty cheeses at the front of the deli case and keep customers returning for more.
Originals

Besides cheeses with protected geographical status, we supply a large and extraordinary variety of regional specialty cheeses from over 15 European countries of origin. We have made it our goal to promote traditional, artisan cheeses and to contribute toward bringing them to the attention of the German market.
Maturity

Clear concepts, the expertise of the deli staff, the balanced blend of attractive offers with a wide range of select specialty cheeses, both for the deli counter and self-service shelf -- these are the basic requirements for continued success on the market.
We are all experiencing an increasing range of choices. But that’s not what ultimately makes a difference. Even variety can be tiring. But how about when you suddenly discover possibilities that you never knew existed?
The heiderbeck Guarantee of Quality
Our own quality assurance department guarantees the safety and marketability of our products in line with the German regulations on cheese (KäseVO). Regularly scheduled testing of the physiochemical and microbiological characteristics of the cheeses guarantees the quality of the product.
